The Waterfront Team has prepared several community outreach meetings to present our ideas and get feedback from the community. The first meeting will be Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 247 North Ave at 6PM. The team will present to the community current conditions, case studies, and will seek community feedback through an interactive session. The main goal is to learn about the community’s hopes, desires, and preferences. It’s also to help the community get to know the team and understand the process and timetable.
The community outreach process is designed to be in three phases. First, we will engage the community to understand the public’s goals and aspirations. Then with the community’s help, begin to define the zoning. The final phase of the community outreach process is to create the zoning. The first meeting will kick off the “Engage” portion of our process.
